Chiropractic Services in Hamilton
Chiropractors are regulated health professionals designated as primary-contact practitioners, which means you do not require a referral to visit. Chiropractors are highly educated and extensively trained to assess, diagnose, and treat various conditions, focusing on the spine, muscles, joints, and nervous system.
Chiropractic care is a natural form of health care that uses various techniques to address the position and movement of the body and restore proper function. For example, a specific injury can be addressed at your chiropractic visit, or some patients feel relief from regular spinal check-ups. Just as you regularly take your car in for maintenance, your body needs maintenance care to address and prevent injury before it starts. In addition, regular care promotes improved mobility and optimal health.

What Type of Treatments Do Chiropractors Provide?
Diversified Spinal Manipulation Therapy: Using their hands to guide your joint(s) through a precise range of motion, chiropractors apply a gentle, controlled force which alleviates joint pain and dysfunction. This treatment is painless, and patients feel significant relief afterwards.
Various Soft Tissue Techniques: Our chiropractors utilize manual techniques similar to massage therapy on specific muscles and regions to relax the tension and relieve pain using their hands or a handheld tool.
Exercise Prescription: Exercises are often used in conjunction with other treatment therapies to help build strength, balance, and flexibility and to help rehabilitate injuries, prevent future damage, and increase overall performance.

Stretching: Our chiropractors use various stretching techniques to help relax tightened muscles and restore proper joint motion and mobility.
Acupuncture: Contemporary medical acupuncture focuses on neuromuscular problems of the body. Using the painless needling approach, acupuncture needles can modulate the abnormal activity of the muscles and nervous system to restore proper function. In addition, our chiropractors are skilled in the application of acupuncture needles, so discomfort is minimal.
Kinesiotaping™: Our chiropractors use specially designed soft, tension-loaded stretchy tape that is applied to the body to correct faulty movement patterns, improve posture, and decrease swelling and pain. You may have seen this on many athletes in the Olympics and other professional sports teams.
Myofascial Cupping Therapy: Silicone cups are applied to treatment areas to increase blood flow and promote tissue healing and repair. “Cupping” is also effective in relieving pain and helping improve muscular function.
