Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hamilton

Based on an ancient system of medicine grounded in the body’s natural energy, or “Qi” Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is used to treat a variety of health conditions.

How it works: TCM evaluates our body in a way that is different than modern medicine, however, it has been around for 1000’s of years. It works with the belief that our body has various channels or meridians that allow energy to flow by blood, nerves and tissues. Different health conditions result in the stagnation of “Qi” and therefore we experience disturbing symptoms. By using a combination of acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and herbs the goal of TCM is to improve “Qi” and therefore restore health. An appointment with a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner is a calming, relaxing and enlightening experience. Our practitioners will begin your journey to health with a detailed history and thorough examination and will then advise you on the best techniques to help.
