Ola Poplawski

Registered Massage Therapist
Ola recently graduated with Honours from Oxford College’s Registered Massage Therapy program. Ola believes in the importance of a holistic approach to healthcare, not only for physical wellbeing but for mental health as well. One of her main passions during her education was learning about the many different ways Massage Therapy can be used not just for generalized relaxation, but for relief of a multitude of pathologies, from cancer to individuals suffering with depression and anxiety.

Ola strongly believes that massage therapy sessions are not a “one size fits all”; she believes in tailoring each treatment to the specific needs and goals of each individual patient. Ola affirms that there is an array of massage techniques that can benefit anyone, from trigger point therapy to decrease radiating pain, deep tissue techniques to help increase relaxation and mobility, to stretching techniques such as PNF (muscle energy) which can be used on clients with acute pain where direct compressions cannot be yet applied. She strongly believes on educating patients on remedial exercises, recommending hydrotherapy solutions or demonstrating self-care techniques for home.
