MEDSPA - PRP SKIN TREATMENTS

Microneedling with PRP

This minimally-invasive procedure involves the use of tiny needles that penetrate the skin thousands of times causing “micro-injuries”. This process induces a healing response in the skin. During this healing phase, new collagen and elastin proteins are produced which are responsible for keeping the skin firm and smooth. In addition, the micro-injuries act as little channels for better absorption of topical agents such as hyaluronic acid or platelet-rich plasma. This treatment is ideal for fine lines, scars, stretch marks and large pores.

Treatment Areas

How it Works?

Automated Micro-Needling (also known as collagen-induction therapy) involves the introduction of tiny needles into the upper layers of the skin, creating thousands of “micro-injuries”. The process invokes a dermal healing response causing new collagen and elastin protiens to form resulting in firmer, smoother, more supple texture. The micro-injuries also act as channels for topical agents to penetrate the skin deeper.

Adding PRP (Platelet-Rich-Plasma) to the treatment zone uses your body’s own growth factors and nutrients to aid in the healing response, boosting collagen production.
