Who provides this style of massage?
Our Registered Massage Therapists provide the following treatment. It can be provided individually as a stand-alone therapy or in any combination. You can book with them here.
Relaxing, healing and balancing, manual lymphatic drainage is a specialized massage that targets and detoxifies the lymphatic system that runs throughout our bodies. This treatment has a lighter pressure than deep tissue massage. It focuses only on our lymphatic map, including your legs, back, face, feet, arms, upper chest, and abdomen. Supported by pillows and covered in a comfortable blanket, you will start your treatment laying on your stomach. The massage begins with your legs and back first. Then you will turn and rest on your back for the rest of your massage. Your entire treatment includes unique, essential oil blends of your choosing, which will increase relaxation and the benefits of your massage.
Our lymphatic system is a big part of our immune system that defends against and filters bacteria and viruses, which is why keeping your lymph moving is beneficial for your overall health.
A lymphatic massage will help to move the lymphatic fluid “lymph” that carries waste into the bloodstream and removes it from your system. This means we are helping to remove the toxins the lymphatic system stores and effectively decongesting and moving any fluid or waste in the system that has slowed or is stagnant.
Remember, after your lymphatic drainage massage, the best thing is lots of rest, relaxation, and fluids. Your entire system will continue to benefit from this treatment, so light meals more often rather than one or two big meals are best for the day of your massage. Also, avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for the next day or two is advised to let your treatment continue to heal and detox your body.

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology, also known as Zone Therapy, is a safe, balancing and healing treatment that releases blockages within the zones in our body and increases circulation throughout every system. By massaging each reflex point on the feet that correspond with each organ and system in our body, the body can be balanced by opening these pathways—using special techniques specific to reflexology during your treatment to apply the appropriate pressure to each point.
Reflexology helps the body to function optimally. Reflexology helps to relieve symptoms of conditions in every area of the body, including the digestive, respiratory, reproductive, muscular, nervous and immune systems. Symptoms of diseases and illnesses are regularly reported as improving after receiving a reflexology treatment.
Both foot and hand reflexology are profoundly relaxing and rejuvenating treatments. Professional aromatherapy blends of your choice can be used to maximize the benefits of your custom treatment.
Foot Reflexology
Your treatment will start with some gentle foot stretches and warm-up movements. Then each foot will be massaged one at a time using special techniques to work each area and reflex points of the entire foot that correspond with and bring circulation and healing to every system and organ in the body. Once each reflex point has been massaged, your treatment will be completed with a relaxing foot massage using the essential oil blend of your choice.
Hand Reflexology
Similar in its purpose and benefits to reflexology on the feet, hand reflexology uses special techniques on the hands by massaging corresponding reflexes to stimulate and balance each part of the body. Hand reflexology is safe, gentle, and effective and can benefit everyone at any age. It is a relaxing, balancing, and rejuvenating treatment that can help ease many conditions like stress, anxiety, sleep issues, injury, and arthritis—calming the nervous system and bringing about increased circulation and blood flow to the body’s overall energy. Hand reflexology also improves flexibility and functions in the hands.
