Reflexology, also known as Zone Therapy, is a safe, balancing and healing treatment that releases blockages within the zones in our body and increases circulation throughout every system. By massaging each reflex point on the feet that correspond with each organ and system in our body, the body can be balanced by opening these pathways—using special techniques specific to reflexology during your treatment to apply the appropriate pressure to each point.
Reflexology helps the body to function optimally. Relief from symptoms and conditions of the digestive, respiratory, and immune systems, hormonal imbalances, and other illness and disease are regularly reported as improving after receiving a reflexology treatment.

What types of treatments do reflexologists provide?
Our Certified Reflexologist, Katie Keyte, provides the following treatments. These can be provided individually as a stand-alone therapy or in any combination. You can book with her here.
Foot Reflexology
Your treatment will start with some gentle foot stretches and warm-up movements. Then each foot will be massaged one at a time using special techniques to work each area and reflex points of the entire foot that correspond with and bring circulation and healing to every system and organ in the body. Once each reflex point has been massaged, your treatment will be completed with a relaxing foot massage using the essential oil blend of your choice.
Hand Reflexology
Similar in its purpose and benefits to reflexology on the feet, hand reflexology uses special techniques on the hands by massaging corresponding reflexes to stimulate and balance each part of the body. Hand reflexology is safe, gentle, and effective and can benefit everyone at any age. It is a relaxing, balancing, and rejuvenating treatment that can help ease many conditions like stress, anxiety, sleep issues, injury, or arthritis—calming the nervous system and bringing about increased circulation and blood flow to the body’s overall energy. Hand reflexology also improves flexibility and functions in the hands.
What to Expect During Your Reflexology Appointment
Once you are comfortable and ready for your reflexology treatment, you review your current needs and any areas you want to focus on to ensure the best possible treatment. You can choose to lay down or recline, always supported by comfortable pillows, covered in a warm blanket if you prefer and a soft eye cover for ultimate relaxation.
Collaborative Care
Our reflexologist works collaboratively with all the other healthcare practitioners in the clinic, including physicians, chiropractors, physiotherapists, naturopaths, chiropodists, and other specialists in order to best manage your health needs. Please inquire for more information.
