COVID-19 Policies & Procedures
At Durand Integrated Health Group we are following government guidelines and our respective regulatory college guidelines to ensure that we all stay healthy and safe. Please read below for our COVID-19 protocols.
IN THE CASE OF ZONE CHANGES, EVEN FOR LOCKDOWN OUR LOCATIONS ARE STILL OPEN.

Before Your Appointment
A COVID-19 screening survey will be a part of your initial online booking and will also be emailed to you 2 hours before your appointment time. These questions are part of a mandatory active screening for patients. These surveys MUST be completed before entry to the clinic is permitted. If you answer “yes” to one or more of the screening questions, you will not be permitted into the clinic and your appointment will be rescheduled.

During Your Time in the Clinic
Mask Wearing
We require ALL clients and patients to bring and correctly wear a face mask in our clinic space – this includes during treatment. They can either be cloth or disposable. If you forget your mask we are happy to provide one to you.
A face mask MUST be worn at all times by our practitioners and staff while in the clinic space. Masks will be kept on at all times by our healthcare practitioners and talking will be kept to a minimum when possible.
Temperature
Upon arrival a staff member will take your temperature using a contactless thermometer. Using privacy guidelines, your temperature will be recorded in the case we need to contact trace. We also have all staff take a temperature reading each day on arrival.
Hand Washing & Sanitizing
Hands must be sanitized upon entering and exiting the clinic. Hand washing will be practiced regularly by all practitioners and it is also encouraged for patients. At this time, there is one washroom for staff use and one washroom for patient use.
Waiting Room
We cannot accommodate more than the permitted number of persons based on social distancing protocol in our waiting area at a time. We ask that patients arrive alone to their appointments – meaning no accompanying guests or children. If this is unavoidable please call ahead of time so we ensure we can accommodate you.
Paperwork
If preferred, receipts can be emailed in order to decrease contact. Please verify that we have the correct email on file.
General Information
In addition to using medical-grade disinfectants and single use tools & equipment whenever possible, our therapists wash their hands between every treatment, wear disposable gloves on their hands when necessary and disinfect every surface after every treatment using recommended sanitizing products. We also keep a cleaning log in every treatment room. If used, linens, blankets, sheets and pillows will be changed and laundered after each appointment.
